The Hot Gossip name was established in the mid-nineties and continued well into the new millennium. Like all enduring acts, longevity was achieved by retaining a professional work ethic and attracting some of Western Australia's top talent. But as the top female vocalists of that era moved on to other endeavors it became harder to maintain the level of quality the industry had come to expect from the Hot Gossip brand. Kevin decided to concentrate his efforts on establishing new names on the Perth scene and as Renegade and Midnight Rambler became the 'work horse' acts, Hot Gossip was put out to pasture leaving many enduring memories to carry on.
With a repertoire of over 200 songs, Hot Gossip mixed nineties-to-now pop-rock with retro classics to creating a party atmosphere at every event. Blending their unique vocal and guitar sounds with synthesized technology enabled them to faithfully reproduce all their material live, retaining the sound of a full band, ensuring their suitability for all venues and occasions.
